I came to this thread through another forum, and though freeRepublic is a Repub site, thus thread is worth your time. Baiscally, Loughner was discovered to have been a frequent poster at AboveTop Secret, and someone had this to say about it:

I just wanted to give you a sample. Mods, I guess this fits best into IP forum. I don’t have much to say about this case other than “what a wackjob” and “sorry for the victims” and “look how America pointed figers at the left and the right and turned it into a midia circus”, but I think that many people have read this news story, and the insight into this guys mind is really interesting.
