Oh yeah.
Being back in California has its benefits. iLife '06 is so worth it.
I use only iPhoto. It’s much much much faster, easier to use, and has full screen mode. And photocasting. With a .Mac account, you can share albums within iPhoto. Other Mac owners can see the shared album in front of them within iPhoto. And we though Flickr was easy to use. yeah right. 
For the other apps, oh yeah they’re leaps ahead. See Steve’s keynote for a taste.
