Impending Sock Problem

This would be a problem!

As predicted. Now I’m stuck with 2 rights and 3 lefts. So one useless lefty. If another righty disappears then I’m stuck with two useless leftys.

I’ll say a prayer for your cold, wet, right foot

Proof, as if it were needed, that tentacles are superior. :smirk:

Wow, that’s ad-hominem! Or worst, ad-humanitas!

The left is superior!

Not true. Note that the pilling on the left-foot socks is much worse.

I don’t mind wearing the same Leftist or rightist standard socks except for that toe socks.

We all have some socialism in us.

Sorry, I’m not sharing my socks with anybody.

*humanitatem, Richarde! :no_no:

Socks problems

I think my feet are too diagonal for this to be a problem for me. I can’t wear socks on the “wrong” foot and none of my socks are labeled.

I also started investing in quality, USA-made merino wool socks though. I could, conceivably, not wash them. That’s what DarnTough’s website claims. They’re that stink-proof. That seems gross to me, though I have gone backpacking with three pairs of socks for a month and didn’t do any laundry. Different social structure there… Do I spend US$20/pair? Yes. Do I now only own 6 pairs of socks that I carefully take care of? Also yes. Do I find socks disappearing into alternate realities? Only for a few days at a time when I take my socks off in odd places around my home. That’s where minimalism is really a great idea — when you only have a few of one thing, you take very good care of it and know where it is at all times. You buy a pack of 25 pairs of socks and you’ll be down to five by the end of the month. You start off with five super comfy, anti-stink pairs of socks and you’ll never have a problem. This law of the universe also applies to hair bands, pens, and spoons.

Bow-legged or pigeon-toed?

From my heel to my big toe is probably four centimeters longer than from my heel to my pinky toe. So wearing socks on the “wrong foot” leads to lots of uncomfortable bunching around the smaller toes due to the stretched out fabric
