In the major cities in the mainland, more and more businesses are buying out used computer inventory in the U.S. and other western countries and selling it in China. Are there any places in Taiwan doing this? I am especially interested in buying 2 15-17" lcd monitors.
If you only want 2pcs, try ruten.com.tw, although you’ll need a Taiwanese friend to help you order stuff (it doesn’t accept registration with ARC-format ID numbers). There are loads of 17" monitors on there for ~NT$1000-1500.
AFAIK nobody imports second-hand computer stuff here cos it’s pointless. Brand-new kit is dirt cheap.
