Read all about importing a bike for registration on the road and how much of a pain in the bollocks it is. What if I wanted to import a bike for trail riding off road use only? Say a CRF450 or something similar. Am I still hit with crazy taxes? Is there any sort of registration process or inspection necessary? How long does a typical release take from landing at port?
