That would be my first choice, but my wife has a CostCo addiction. ![]()
Just dangle your feet off the side of the scooter, likes a true blue local, to make room for the shopping. Rider’s feet on the scooter and the passenger’s hand/s holding onto anything appears to be optional here. ![]()
Oh yah, been there, done that, with one of the in-law families’ janky old spare scooter with no gauges, one worn out brake and bald tires, in the rain, carrying three baskets of laundry stacked in the footwell and four bags of groceries hanging on the handle bars, wife w/a backpack between us and more groceries in a couple boxes bungied behind her, lol! With the weight and the ancient tires I expected a blowout at any moment, but we were lucky. Good times… ![]()
(I have enough scooter and motorcycle stories to fill a book, don’t get me started, lol!)
Also a CostCo addict, manage it just fine with a scooter/bicycle. If it’s really that nuts of a trip, you wouldn’t be the only person getting a taxi to carry things home lol
…and not having to pay the roughly $15k in vehicle taxes every year will pay for most (if not all) of those taxi rides already.
