A friend from abroad is interested in mailing over covid at-home tests to me here in Taiwan for personal use. Are there any restrictions with importing tests for personal use like this? Thanks! Stay safe and healthy everyone!

I was wondering about that earlier tonight actually. My guess (and it is a guess) was that they would probably fall under the category of medical devices and require an import licence (which you presumably won’t get without approval from the FDA or whoever regulates this).
