I had someone send me some of my extra stuff from canada that I could not get in my luggage on the plane, according to UPS the package is being held up in a warehouse in taiwan and cannot be processed because it does not have the proper “power of attorney” forms (whatever that is)
has anyone had this problem before? and how do I get around it so they will deliver me my goods?
here is the chinese note ups sent me (I can’t read chinese and did a rough google translate, I still don’t understand what their asking)

Please confirm whether these are commercial or private goods. As an individual, you need to sign the form that should be attached to the email you got, put your ID number (ARC/passport) on the form, and fax it back along with a copy of the ID you are using.
The form heading will be “委任書”. It gives UPS power of attorney for helping you process this package through customs.
After you fax it through, give them a call to confirm. The telephone number of the person handling your package should be on the power of attorney form.
