What do tropical penguins, leprechauns, rubber ducks, and giving birth all have in common? They’ve all been a part of Taichung Improv’s comedy show and they may never be a part of it again.

Improv comedy is different every time. We take your suggestions and turn it into a fast paced sketch that is sure to leave you in stitches at the end of the night. Join us for our show on June 13 at 10 PM as we return to the Londoner bar in Taichung. Every show is different and if you missed the last one, you missed a lot.

Tickets are NT$250, free drink included (with a choice of many drinks). Audience participation is encouraged.

We had a fantastic show again last night. Thanks to the Londoner for providing us with the space. They also started a mini bar upstairs and had it going last night for the event - which was a great idea.

MC Neil Sherwood, along with translator Cyndi Yang, really did a fantastic job keeping things going.

Of course, the audience was fantastic too. Thanks to everyone who made it out. If you made it, here are some reminders of what you saw:

  2. Stand Sit Bend – Tree Toppers and Thomas getting spanked.

  3. Press Conference – Paris Hilton and celibacy.

  4. Bigger Louder Worse - What happens when a red neck and a rapper get together?

  5. Living Scenery - Jack, Beanstalk, and Giants telling you you’re naughty.

  6. Change - Want to impress an evil mutant super villain? Take him to the strip club, obviously!!!

  7. Try that on for size – Who knew washing your grandfather could be so much fun?

  8. World’s worst – Thanks to Nick for giving us the worst possible gynecologist.

  9. Reverse freeze tag – “BANANA BOAT!!!”

  10. 2 line vocab – Was “Slap” one of the lines we gave Matt and Nick?

  11. Emotional rollercoaster - Wet door knobs annoy me, too.

  12. Expert interview - Singing songs about Stinky Tofu

  13. Word at a time - Nick is crowned the new champion of this game in a story about giving birth.

If you were there, you just likely laughed at least 13 times. If you missed it, I hope you can come to the next one. Thanks to the audience for the great show.
