Incident at nuclear power plant

The time when I worked at a radium and uranium clean-up site we did a nose blow every day (dust particles), had a radiation pen to measure daily doses, had a film badge for monthly doses and needed to go into a total body counter every year.

How many bodies were there ?

One! I, in pajamas! Total radiation body counter, it’s a crystal right over your heart to capture radiation! Having a nap for about an hour! It’s like a lead enclosed bunker type thing with a comfortable armchair.

Here , I bet that for cost cutting reasons, not even the gloves are disposable…

Now tell me you can really trust these heartless idjits with nuclear power.

I met the head of a radiation monitoring council once in an unnamed subtropical country starting with T.
By all accounts he was a raging alco.
