Incredibly exciting new word game :p

OK, it’s not THAT exciting, but we’re missing out on a nice easy game thread at the moment, so here’s a new one.

Here’s all you have to do.

 1. Take the previous word.
 2. Write a new word (not words), using the last letter of the previous word as the first letter of the new one. The new word must have something in common with the previous word too.
 3. If two or more people post at the same time, ignore the second, third one, etc (unless the first one is nonsense) and carry on from there.

For example:
mouse > elephant (elephants are jokingly said to be afraid of mice)
Next word needs to start with “t” and have something in common with “elephant”.

OK?

*please quote the previous word with your word, and add an explanation if the link is not incredibly obvious.

irishstu - utterly (Irishstu is utterly nuts)

Erm… Macho man. You have to continue from “elephant”.

And the point of the game is what?

Who’s the winner and what does she get?

Erm… Macho man. You have to continue from “elephant”.
You play your game, I’ll play mine.

Ok.

elephant - trunk (elephants have trunks, in case that wasn’t obvious)
And the point of the game is what?

The point is, little missy, that we get to exercise our big brains, cos we’ve got big brains… and stuff.

trunk – key

Cool

trunk > kidnap.

If you kidnapped someone, you might bung them in a trunk.

(Damn, too slow)

So we’re on “key”

trunk>kit

ETA-Ah screw, how do I get TWO freaking answers in front of me???

Oh, since we get to do trunk again, how about

trunk - kitchen (because a person might store a trunk in the kitchen)

WE’RE ON “KEY”!!!

kitchen - nives. (you have nives and forks in a kitchen)

It would seem you have some timing and flow issues with this game.

It would seem you haven’t tested it in an (un)controlled environment on a test-group prior to release.

It would seem you haven’t thought things through. Which is unlike you, stu. What’s up? Has Chief been neglecting you lately?

key - yellow (keys can be yellow)
Oh, since we get to do trunk again, how about

Kitchen - nugget (as you bake them there and it even is pretty similar to Chicken -nugget)

yellow - water (when you pass water it is yellow)

water > river

river > reservoir

Can someone post the word which will appear in 45 seconds, due to the server delay :raspberry:

reservoir - roily (the waters in the reservoir were roily)
