Hello everyone! 
I am new to Forumosa and to Taiwan. I am Italian and currently living in mainland China. I’ve been in China for three years and feel like it’s time to change so I will be moving to Taipei in March. Although I am fluent in Chinese, I plan to study for the first few months 'cause I can only write simplified characters and not traditional ones. But my biggest concern is getting a job in Taiwan. I have a degree in Chinese which I know is not much and have been working as a translator and interpreter in China, but I would literally do anything that would let me gain some experience. Any field is ok, I am used to work with mainlanders and I am sure taiwaneses are not worst than that.
I will be going to Taiwan with my partner who is Japanese but I feel like it will be easier for him to find a job over there than me.
Do I have any hope?
