Quick comment on what the biotech guys said:

“There are two things Taiwanese are proud of. Health are and computer science. Hahahaha.”

Not sure Taiwan is that good at computer science. No one wants to invest in software. Electrical engineer would be more apt.

How is the software deployed by eg gogoro or D-link acquired if not trough investment in developing the software ?

What I meant was Taiwanese people don’t invest in software companies because the software development life cycle is too long.

D-Link is a modem company, and Gogoro was started by Americans.
