Intellegence agencies ban Lenovo over altered circuitry for easy hacking

MI6 discovered Lenovo alters circuitry to enable easy hacking of their devices, so together with CIA, Australian, Canadian and New Zealand intelligence agencies, they placed a ban on Lenovo devices. The written ban ahs been in place since 2005 as some evidence shows.

Apparently there’s a deliberate backdoor put in place in both hardware and firmware so that devices can easily be hacked when wanted to.

If Lenovo does this, imagine what Huawei and ZTE do on their mobile devices and infrastructure equipments…
