Unsure, but for three months you might want to consider wifly (providing you have wireless and are close by a hotspot) wifly.com.tw/wifly3/en/
If you have a notebook, I’d go with a combination of WiFly and a Starbuck’s card. They’re not too expensive, and between the two you have pretty good coverage. Even if you travel outside of Taipei there are Starbucks everywhere these days. This combination worked for me pretty well for a one-month visit this past fall.
Yes, in urban areas, that would be a good solution even for people who don’t surf that much. If you are lucky, your house may even be within the Wifly Area, so you don’t need ADSL to your home! Sweet.
