All kinds of schemes going on for fone plans in the USA.
I was on Metropcs. Where I got unlimited data and minutes as long as I was in a metro coverage area in the USA to anywhere in the USA.
60/month is their top plan. You pay for your own fone. They don’t have the iphone , but if you own an iphone you could join their network, as they just got bought out by TMobile.
TMobile meantime has a scheme where you get an iphone 5s for 22 bucks/month installment for 24 months. No contract but if you stop the plan, you must pay the remainder of the fone cost. The fone itself is bout 650/month plus tax.
I’ve been using LG and Android with Metro for a few years.
Recently got the wife’s Iphone 5S, while she upgraded to the Iphone 6 (which is 27/month installment plan for 24 months, with about 70 to start for the sales tax).
We ended up with her new iphone 6 and me with my wifes ex iphone 5 (which is 18 months old now) together for bout 180 dollars a month. Including unlimited data and minutes calling from anywhere in the USA to anywhere in the USA. 15 bucks extra got her unlimited talk to cellfone and landlines in INdonesia . And including paying 22/month for the iphone 5s and 27/month for the 6.
too. So all in all a sweet deal.
Now to my point. It is a different methodology iphone vs android. Similar functions but just a different way to get things done.
I am getting used to it now and starting to like it now, though it is quite not the same as an android .
Only thing is the iphone 5 is pretty small and the metal case seems slippery. Should’ve saved a hundski and gotten the iphone 5C instead. Which is really the iphone 5 with a plastic case. The plastic case is probably less slippery.
Instead one is forced to get a plastic case and make the iphone lose some of its slimness and cool factor.
I ordered a leather case online that I am hoping will be nicer then a plastic case
What is your viewpoint? Iphone or Android methodology?
