How do I transfer music from my iPod into iTunes? (or anywhere else on my computer for that matter)
Apple Support says it is not possible - but there must be a way???
Any help would be MUCH appreciated.
i had that problem…what i do is go into the i-pod via the my computer option on my pc…and then i set the folder properties to show all hidden files. You will find your music in there and you can cut/copy and paste them anywhere you like

I also decided to look outside of apple for support (right after posting the first note) and found this http://www.mp3machine.com/software/iPodAccess/ which looks like it might solve the problem.

Quirky, no idea to tell you the truth. I just ran across that download when I was checking for the latest mac downloadable apps.
