Ireland's Potato

The one near Taipei Station at the cinema has closed. That was my go-to pre movie snack.

I think there’s only two left now–near 101 and the new one at Maji Square.

Shame because I always liked it, I like the fries with various types of sauce. These all shut, yet the god awful TKK Chicken (the worst food I have ever eaten bar none) and Mos Burger have branches everywhere.

Was one in Taipei zoo last time I was there, if you’re desperate!

Ding gUA gUA ain’t doin so well bud. I’ve seen a lot of stores close down. None in my neighborhood. Most Taiwanese think its shit. I dig it, like once a year, for the novelty.

And yea the Q square irelands potato was a classic.

This topic made me want to try when I am back in England.

Not beef wellington. That’s a giant sausage roll. Might be good, though. The key difference is that beef is a cut of beef, wrapped in pastry. It’d be hard to make one in vegan meat, though I’d be happy to be proved wrong.

The Maji place seems to be a copy-cat , it’s yellow-themed and called “Irelandsfun” (somehow punctuated)

Huh, I hadn’t noticed. I did go to it a couple of weeks ago and the menu seemed the same as the one near the QSquare cinema. Maybe just a rebranding?
