A few weekends ago I saw some people doing the most peculiar things. Playing soccer, but using their hands sometimes. At first I thought they were playing rugby with a soccer ball, then after watching some more I figured they just made up their own game (what did I know). Well today I got a little closer (played with them) and found out it was Irish soccer.
I never thought to ask them, but is this game bigtime in Ireland (are there professionals)? Some of the guys seemed pretty good and I could see that they took it seriously.
Ok, I’m going to post this anyway, but I did a google search and found out it’s a serious game. All I know is that it was a fun, a little bit of soccer, american football, a smidgen (sp?) of basketball and a dash of volleyball. The Irish know how to do things right
