Original Title: are guys who like asian girls bien tai?
Dear forumosa abby or whatever,
this is a topic that is “hits close to the bone” for me (i learned this phrase from mod lang). i saw this on a website that was discussing “eggs” ( transcultural types-people who are white outside yellow inside- i don’t know what they call black people who like asian culture).
is this classified as a fetish? i don’t know why, but i almost can’t imagine myself with a western girl. just can’t.
i also heard that there’s a mental disorder where western guys try to get a chinese girl and make her into a westerner or something like that. i think i just have guilt put on me by all the racists in college who couldn’t understand why i was always with them damn chinese people(by the way i didn’t learn chinese for the girls. i did it cause i love language).please respond.

you know, my mom had long black hair and a complexion similar to asians. do you think there’s some freudian stuff going on here? also, i think western girls’ tits are no big deal, but put the same ones on an asian girl and wow. i don’t know why.

I think black people in Asia are called 1,000 year old eggs because they are darker and more of a delicacy. :lovestruck:
Actually, names like “eggs” are simple and silly and invented by people who can’t think out of the box. (no pun intended)
I am not sure if your attraction is just natural or some sort of neurotic disorder. I’m quite torn on this–I’ve seen this Oprah show where they had therapy for men who were attraced to women of other races except their own and it turns out it was linked to their childhood and they had issues, and blah, blah, blah. The other half of me says some people like Swedes, some like pygmies, others like Aztec-types, others like Eskimos and we’re all adults and can pick what we want and who gives a crap?
my wife complains about the clothes in the US. she says they have no style. i’ve noticed that girls here have nice cute clothes to wear and take care of themselves, eat like birds, do spas, and such. i think suburbia america is in love with ugly. i always take an asian carrier when i go to the US cause i wanna see babes for flight attendants.the US airlines are too equal employer and let anybody with the height requirements be one. asian airlines know where it’s at!
Maybe you need to rework your title question - Is rantheman bian tai? I think cross-cultural bi-racial relationships are normal. It’s probably abnormal to only like women of your race. When I see the long-necked women of South-east Asia, I can tell you they do nothing for me. Same goes for the Amazon tribes where the women have wooden disks inserted into their ear lobes and lower lips. On the other hand, hispanic women can be very hot. Also Indian, Scandinavian, Italian, Middle Eastern, African (I knew some Somali women in school that were smoking hot), East Asian, etc. Recognizing that femininity extends to other races doesn’t make one bian tai. Believeing that femininity only exists in one race does probably indicate some kind of psychological hang up, though… :s
Okay, so there are white guys who only like Asian girls. In Asia, this is understandable. But when I meet or hear of one here in the States, it just creeps me out.
The term we use for non-Asians who like Asians is “rice chaser.”

Do you have a term for Asian gals that only like white guys? I met a few of those in the Bay Area.

In Australia we call Asian kids who are white wannabees ‘bananas’.
I only went on a few dates with a couple of Asian gals when I lived in the Bay Area from '99-'03 so I’m not really an expert on the subject. But, IMO, I think that many white guys living in the Bay Area, if not all, would welcome the chance to meet an Asian gal with a “white boy fetish.”
