I would assume it’s just chicken cooked down to extract some kind of juice from it.

It’s the gelatin. Fats will collect on top after cooling down and used for animal feed probably.

You guys haven’t been to the factory? I’ve been on a sschool trip there, it’s in Lugang. I couldn’t really tell what they were cooking, but the whole place is super clean.
They’re not going to use the meat, it’s probably deboned chicken carcasses, after removing the pink goo to make nuggets. Maybe bones from chicken legs, necks, heads.
At least it’s clean.

That was years ago when my chinese was non existent.
