I use the injectable medicine Mounjaro for my Type 2 diabetes. Has anyone obtained this medicine from a pharmacy in Taiwan? I will be visiting as a tourist in January, and because of the stupid medical insurance system here in the USA, I might not be able to bring a sufficient supply with me. Thanks for helping out a first-time tourist to Taiwan!
Last I read, Lily wasn’t even able to meet domestic (US) demand, much less anything for export. Seems to me Lily is unlikely to accept what I assume is a lower export price, not while North America is willing to pay the nosebleed price.
Just spitballing, though. I could be 100% wrong.
eta: However, I think pharmacists can make their own GLP1 formulations, so maybe something like that is possible. I’d be surprised if you can find name-brand Mounjaro in Taiwan, though.
