If we consider Taiwan again I will update this thread but as somebody else stated before it might be anyway pretty difficult to immigrate currently because of the lockdown.
Something else I almost forgot: Do you know if it is even possible to immigrate to Taiwan if your police clearance certificate is not completly clean? One of us has 120 daily rates written in there because of “heavy shoplifting” which will lapse in 1.5 years. Did you had to show your clearance certificate?
