Is the word 'black' being used exclusively negatively, with racial connotations?

I prefer cafe latte over black coffee. I think I’m a racialist.

Just for the record, I don’t have anything against black people. Indeed, we should join forces, work together, and become something better:

Is that funny ? or you have nothing else?

As a left-handed person I am deeply offended by use of the word “right” to mean correct. It implies “left” is wrong, or even sinister. And before anyone pays me a left-handed compliment about the sageness of my observation I would also like to point out that I’m not happy about yellow bellied or purple funk either.

OK, suppose i’m depressed and suicidal. Should i turn to the mental health resources of theBlack Dog foundation, or not?

the word Black is not racist. it describes something dark, like a dark place, or a bad list.

people from African heritage should disassociate themselves from the word Black.

BTW, my car is black. Terrible color for a car in a hot climate, but it looks bad-ass. I’m not going to refer to it as a bad car. or an African-heritage-colored car.

I think we should blackball @brasd from this forum. We could blackmail him to leave, but that wouldn’t be very sporting.

Fraudian slip.

The word “Caucasian” sure is. I’m in the middle of a 5 week training for culturally responsive education, and that is one thing they did taugt us: white is, er…right, the right way to call me, us, them. There’s like compelling historic evidence that makes sense, too.

People of Color will not replace us!

(Is a tiki torch a form of cultural appropriation?)

Reminds me of this (yes she was being serious. Yes, she doubled down after her error was pointed out)

I am not Caucasian. I am definitely pro-Asian, though.

Why , so I don’t have a right to post? You act like you’re on the playground trying to gather your buddies around you lol.

And who is “We”?

Freemasons, of course. We are all Freemasons. A few of us are Scientologists too.

EDIT: also “whoosh”

So Brasd, explain something to me. You are Haitian. You call yourself ‘dog papa doc’. You emigrated to where? Quebec? Correct?

As far as I know Haitians were accepted in whichever country they could escape from Duvalier, if they had money to leave. Haitians in Quebec, as far as I know, are one of the most privileged, highly educated group of people in Quebec. If you’re black and can speak French in Canada you’re on the gravy train. Where is your chip?

nah you dream about being a free mason but you’re really a cram school teacher ha ha

That’s a personal question and no I’m part Haitian, and?
