I will try to explain it. For posterity I note that explaining ethno-nationalism is not an endorsement of it - I think it’s an absolute dead end for mankind. None-the-less…
The concept of Ethno-nationalism is simply the idea that your ethnicity is the most important thing about your identity, and the strongest bond that links you to other people. A sort of extension of the normal human desire to put your family first, but yours expands to millions of people, mostly strangers.
This inevitably leads you into conflcit with other ethnicities as you see the world as a sort of global tribal struggle that you need to win.
I think the American Envangelists are useful idiots, but not the source of all this.
The fact is that the Israeli lobby in the US is just incredibly powerful, well established, organised, and wealthy. The majority of senators are receiving AIPAC money, they don’t have to register as foreign agents, etc. To say nothing of zionist agencies like the ADL, who “work together” with the FBI…
Basically the entire US system is compromised.

I somewhat agree with this. Israelis are not western colonists. Israelis are semitic language speaking middle easterners. This is a middle eastern ethnic conflict, all this “outpost of western civilisation” nonsense is telling westerners what they want to hear to get $$$.
One way you can tell Israelis are not European colonists is that the infrastructure in West Bank and Gaza are awful.

It’s not so cut and dry. People flocked there from the West after WW2. Hebrew is widely spoken as a result of a relatively recent, deliberate revival movement.

At this point they’ve been in Palestine longer than the Waishengren have been in Taiwan. You can argue that the original zionists were somewhat LARPing, but they now speak Hebrew natively (and they had kept Hebrew as a liturgical language all those centuries). Genetic/ancestral arguments aside - they’re middle easterners now.
They are and they aren’t. They proudly called themselves colonists, because colonialism was en vogue at the time.
I heard a rabbi explain that Hebrew only has about 300 root words, so modern Hebrew is basically an artificially constructed language.
That’s an insult to the word “colonist”. We built hospitals, they destroy them.
They have some of the best hospitals in the world, as does Taiwan.
