Israelis and militants clash near Gaza
Well it was a quiet 10 days, but maybe the cease-fire will survive. There was an explosive device detonated near the border crossing point of Kissufim that killed one soldier and wounded three others. We’ll see what the Israeli response is now that there is a new POTUS.
On another note, here is an IHT article on what it may take for peace to last between Israel and Palestine. They interviewed a few thousand Palestinians and Israelis to see how likely they would compromise depending on what the other side gave up. Maybe there is hope after all.
