Just like the title says.
Is it? I noticed it was a bit chillier this morning than usual up on the hill and a bit drizzly, but I still wore me shorts and no shirt. It was quite pleasant.
Cold, and a modicum of drizzle. Yup.
The wind is blowing my toupe off. Typhoon weather for sure. You’re stouter lads than me. ![]()
Well shitty in Xiamen, across the pond.
Reads 17c on my thermometer, next to my bed. Feels colder…
Warm, sunny and quite gusty in the coastal wastelands of western Chiayi Country - very pleasant, and, needless-to-say, good weather for drinking.
Bracingly cool and fresh on the roof in Tu Cheng Nature Preserve.
I can see the little temples in the mountains on the other side of Bancaio, so that means it’s pretty clear, at least low down.

That are graves … creepy :ohreally: but it’s cold, cloudy and raining anyway

Not the graveyards, the temples.
Shake the flour out your ears, boy.
Yes, like a typhoon . . . just like a typhoon. I remember a typhoon that was just like this a few years ago. I think I spent most of that typhoon at the park with my little girls.

It came in quite dark this afternoon - slate grey clouds, a nice cool breeze (Beaufort Scale #5 Branches of a moderate size move, small trees begin to sway) and the odd cold spit of rain on the cheek. I went to the park hot coffee in hand and watched an old man supervising his grandson in the feeding of squirrels: the boy, bread in his fingers, took a step forward. His grandpa told him to take another. The squirrel twitched its nose and scurried at the food. The boy shrieked, dropped the bread, and ran terrified back to the safety of his protector.
Squirrel 1, boy 0.
Which, as it happened, was the final score. The old man threw the rest of the bread to the squirrels, with the kid looking on wide-eyed from between his legs.
Nice day to wander about in new winter clothes.
