Hi there,
I’m a jazz musician writing from San Francisco, and will be in Taiwan doing research on Taiwanese folk and aboriginal music & dance starting in March. I’d like to start up some creative music projects w/ the music students at NTNU, and am wondering, "Is there is a lot of jazz taught at the university? Are many students doing it? Is there a jazz scene in Taipei? I hear there is an “artist’s district?”
