Job Announcement
Duties
I. The teacher is obliged to co-teach first grade Integrative Activities and Health Education Courses with homeroom teachers. Total teaching periods are 20 periods per week, including 16 periods of Integrative Activities and 4 periods of Health Education.
II. The teacher is obliged to serve in the bilingual pilot program study group and prepare lessons with other school faculty members.
III. The teacher is obliged to perform tasks relevant to the bilingual pilot program.
Requirements
According to the recruitment requirements by Chongming Elementary School:
I. General Requirements: International applicants must submit an academic credential recognized by the Ministry of Education and meet immigration requirements.
A. Education (applicants must meet the requirements of either 1 or 2)

Applicants must submit a bachelor academic credential or above issued by domestic universities, foreign universities or independent colleges in the Reference List of Foreign Universities of the Ministry of Education. The applicants must also submit either a teaching certificate or a document proving teaching qualifications.

B. A health check report from hospitals or clinics proving both mental and physical health conditions is required. The health check report should include regular health check items, a chest x-ray in tuberculosis, serological tests of STDs, urine tests of opiate drugs and amphetamines, etc.
C. Applicants must obtain a certificate of good conduct or lack of a criminal record issued within the last three years by either the ROC or their home country. (Those who have not received their certificate at the time of application must provide the certificate by the time of the probation period.)
II. Additional Requirement:
- The contracted teacher shall finish the foreign professional employment work permit application by the Workforce Development Agency, Ministry of Labor.
