Edit: he says he teaches 6 classes a year. UCLA is on a quarter system… sooooo, he teaches 1 class 2 quarters of the year, and 2 classes the other 2? And he considers that full time load that deserves more than $70k?

The problem is not actually that there aren’t places closer that he than can afford on $70k, the problem is there aren’t cool places like Westwood and San Diego that he can afford on $70k.
Neither Biden nor his spox would tell us why a doctor specializing in Parkinsonism made more than one visit to the White House last spring. That’s par for the course for Obama types, of course, but I’d wager a bitcoin he’s been diagnosed with some variant of Parkinson’s.

As a lecturer he wouldn’t. He’s not a real professor, he’s a teaching machine. That’s why they don’t pay him a real professor salary.
