Well I for one am shocked that the guy who ran up a >US$1M tax oblgation to the IRS (his pa had connections, you know) would stiff his Delaware lawyers for >$50k (“substantially in excess of $50,000”). I guess since the family’s influence-peddling biz went belly up last November, Hunter’s no longer able to hustle a painting or two for day money.
And some people single the Trump family out as a pack of wolves.

It’s not easy to square the Biden belief that Hunter was a victim of political prosecution of Biden’s DOJ with the fact that those prosecuting him answered to him, not Trump.
The idea that the GOP was pulling out all the stops to break Hunter and force him into relapse is delusional. The GOP was gunning for Joe Biden by pointing out the Biden family business (influence peddling, legal but extremely unsavory). Hunter was their hammer, not their nail.
I still don’t know how Americans can stand behind Joe Biden. He’s bound to end up in a bad place when US history is rewritten fifty years or so from now. Others have called him a lifelong C student who thinks he deserves a A, but there’s a better term. Biden is a terminal fuckup, as we used to say in my youth. His elevation to POTUS is an American tragedy.
