Is it possible to join the ROC army if you have previously served for a foreign military, e.g. UK?

My friend is in the mainland Chinese army and is interested in that :joy:probably doesn’t include a few nationalities I think :thinking: maybe 200,000 applications tomorrow :hugs:

I guess the French Foreign Legion would be a better option.

My father-in-law entered the ROC military just a few years after serving in the People’s Liberation Army. Of course in between time he was shot at, captured, imprisoned, and reeducated, but – just saying it’s possible.
