I’ve got two Joostlive TV tokens to give away … If you want one I need your E-mail address, first come, first served …
Ooh - I’ll take one! Thanks!
maoman at gmail.com
Me too, please. sandman1958 at gmail
They ask me for your names too … can I use them? should I make up some crazy names?
I just make up something … something like Sandy Man and Anthony Mao
They are gone …
Many thanks, BP. This looks rather interesting.
It is … but sadly it doesn’t work with Vista yet … unless you tweak some DLL files and I don’t like that … who can blame me? Anyways, I’ll try it later on, on my old XP install …
Just got it working … someone in the forum found another way of tweaking … just looks great, works better than WMP … or other online streaming TV … I just hope that I can keep the bandwith going
Very cool. Pretty good picture, not herky-jerky. Not much of interest to me, but I expected that anyway. Its got National Geographic. Watched a bit of 50 Years on Everest. I’ma have some fun with this.
Edit: It’s got a channel devoted to porky American girls on beaches. Yeah!
I’m watching NG right now … see if can beat the US secret service … programing will be better soon I suppose
They break for advertising sometimes … the money needs to come from somewhere
Did you have a look at ‘My Joost’ at full screen … it has lots of extras … gmail instant messaging amongst others
Do we still need an invite? I just signed up for the beta… but dunno what that gets me~
ok… seems I have to wait unless someone has a token for me…
I worship thee with the tokens… ![]()
They might send you a password and username by e-mail … but than maybe you should wait until one of gets more tokens … man, I love that power feeling
I also signed up for the beta and now I sit here and wait. So who ever wants to show mercy by inviting me will be

What’s the difference between Joost TV and other P2P streaming TV softwares? There are a bunch of P2P streaming TV softwares around, so why wait for Joost TV? There is a list of some good ones in “[url=http://tw.forumosa.com/t/p2p-live-tv-satisfied/36108/1 Live TV[/url]” thread. No waiting, no tokens. Just download and watch the channels.
Quality of streaming maybe … Joost has some advertising mixed in but not disturbingly … they still need time to build up their content but it looks promising … legality is another point, I guess most others if not ‘free to view’ they have illegal content …
I’ve tried a couple of these TV thingys before Joost, and for me it’s the quality of the picture. Joost is the first I’ve tried where you can make it fullscreen and it still looks OK. Also, it seems a lot smoother than the others I’ve tried.
Didn’t get any token yet Sandman?
I don’t know, BP. Joost is on my other computer, so I won’t see it until tonight. Where would I look to see if I have tokens?
