Hello, I am looking for stroller friendly places in kiaohsiung. I have already been to Central Park and San duo station which were great. I wonder if the sugar meuseum is stroller friendly? And is there anything at Formosa Blvd other than a fancy train station.
I want to avoid busses as I don’t want to lift the stroller up the stairs but there seems to be a lot of willing and helpful people

I went to Formosa blvd mrt today. It was stroller friendly but other than a fancy train station there were little tourist attractions. I then walked 10 mins to central park.
I still want to know if the sugar museum is stroller friendly. Anyone been there?
I recall the sugar factory being very barren around. A stroller-friendly option maybe along the orange line at Xizhiwan. You may choose to walk along the bike route. At the end, award yourself a great view of the sea at NSYSU. Another option would be the cultural center.

I went to the sugar factory and absolutely loved it. The town is so small clean quiet and charming with good food. My husband and I ate ice cream three times while we were there. It is very stroller friendly. I saw the flies that look like snitches ( bc they hover then dart away. ) My baby did come home with more bug bites.
I would go back again because the bun restaurant was closed when we went.
Today I spent six hours at the island close to siziwan. Also stroller friendly. I will visit again as I believe size wan has more than just the island. I think there is a train meuseum?
Does anyone know if monkey mountain is stroller friendly?
I might visit the cultural centre tmr, do you know if there is an admission fee ? Is it a meusem or cluster of buildings?
Have you been to the Pier-2 Art Center? That’s pretty stroller friendly.

IIRC the track on Monkey Mountain is just a dirt path to get to the top. There’s a nice view if you can make it to the top.
There is also a park in Nanzi which is on the MRT line and therefore quite convenient. I think it’s called Metropolitan Park or something like that (都會公園 in Chinese). It might be worth checking out.

I went to the cultural centre the green area around the Centre was nice, and there were three free art exhibitions.
You could go to the zoo I guess. But monkey mountain proper for hiking? You couldn’t do it with a stroller nor would you want to as the monkeys can be intimidating and aggressive,
Don’t bring small children up there.
Love River has some nice walks from Wufu Bridge with riverside coffee shops. Kaohsiung Art Museum is surrounded by a large park that should be stroller friendly. There is the new Kaohsiung Exhibition Center at Glory Pier with a park and large fountain. Across the street from the Cultural Center is the Kaohsiung Normal University (Shifan Daxue) with lots of shady walks and old trees. Then there is Science and Technology Museum on Jiuru Lu with a large park and smooth paths.
