Kernel32.dll error?

my boyfriend has the following error message on his computer. btw, he’s using windows me.

msimm zaocheng kernell22.dll de cuowu

once he closes the error window, the computer crashes.

Anybody of you computer specialist knows what this could be?

Are you sure it’s kernel22 and not 32? If it’s definitely 22, it sounds like a virus.

ok…here we go again. it’s

msimn and kernell32.dll.

sorry about that, i just don’t get him right, when he tries to spell english…

Is he using McAfee Antivirus ? And does it happen when he closes IE or outlook ?
Try to get it updated, or turn it off for now (not a permanent solution)

When does this error happen?

Try checking out a few of these linkes http://www.google.com/search?q=kernel32.dll+error There are a billion reasons why this might be happening. I’d start off with viruses…

I gave him these links, but apparently didn’t help…

I don’t know more than what I already wrote here. I guess he will find his own way to deal with it…thanks anyways for your help guys…=)
