Not to put too fine a point on it, they’re resorting to every trick they can think of to try to steal the election. Their devious and dirty practices didn’t succeed in swinging it their way at the polls, so they’re trying to have a second crack at it after the event.
Sure, they are doing everything they can think of, but to be honest, if it were the other way around (which it wouldn’t have been – Chen would have conceded with dignity), I would ask my observers to be finicky too. That is what they are there for, not to alter reality, but to make sure that every detail is scrutinized carefully.
There is more than one fox in the henhouse, you know.
I think they should have a scantron machine score the ballots.
700 lawyers. 4000 people. 2 weeks. Forget it. It just going to be chaos.

I wouldn’t be surprised if some last minute event (i.e. helly kitty pyromanic burns ballots) invalidated the recount process and they have an investigation to recount the recount from the ashes.
the other bizarre thing is they claim to have 100,000 cases of people who turned up to vote and found their votes had already been cast…where do they get this stuff from? i don’t think anyone for one minute believes the DPP has outdone the KMT at dirty tricks…if i’ll give them one thing it’s that they are the past masters of this kind of stuff…
