Just that it was interesting to learn from my father that my grandfather went into business in Shanghai with, basically two refugees of different regions and times, one from the bolshevik revolution in 1917, and the other from Nazi Germany in 1935. My old landlord in SF was actually a White Russian from China who remembered a few Shanghainese phrases.
