Ok I’m going to bali for a week then coming back for 30 days…my question is do I need to have a plane ticket or is copy of my itinerary good enough to get a 30 day landing visa???
You’ll need a return ticket, not for the landing visa, but to get on the plane back to Taiwan. They won’t want to let you on the plane back otherwise for fear that you won’t be allowed in wothout a visa, in which case the airline is liable for having to take you back.
I’ve got around this twice in the past, once from Singapore with Singapore Airlines by signing a form saying that they wouldn’t be liable if I was deported, and another time from HK with Thai by showing them a credit card to prove that I had funds (although required a lot of talking and phone calls to my gf in Taipei and I almost didn’t get on).
