Language/history journal (Sino-Platonic Papers)

I’ve just added a subdomain to my site for Sino-Platonic Papers, an occasional series out of the University of Pennsylvania.

I have bought quite a few of these titles myself and so can recommend the series.

It should be of most interest to those interested in languages (esp. the Chinese languages) and history.

A little from the blurb for the series:
The purpose of the series is to make available to specialists and the interested public the results of research that, because of its unconventional or controversial nature, might otherwise go unpublished…

Although the chief focus of Sino-Platonic Papers is on the intercultural relations of China with other peoples, challenging and creative studies on a wide variety of philological subjects will be entertained. This series is not the place for safe, sober, and stodgy presentations. Sino-Platonic Papers prefers lively work that, while taking reasonable risks to advance the field, capitalizes on brilliant new insights into the development of civilization.
Check it out.

EDIT: URL updated.

This is a ten-year grave-dig to let people know that as of this month 90 percent of the 232 (and counting!) issues Sino-Platonic Papers are now online and free.

There’s a lot there of likely interest to anyone who reads this forum.

Very interesting! Thanks!

A big batch of rereleases went online today.
