Right, has anyone seen leg of lamb sold anywhere recently?
I’m thinking about getting one for christmas instead of ham.
I guess I should’ve had a look around first, but I thought someone might know of a good place and save me the hassle.
I know this has been discussed before, but I don’t think any specific places where provided where one could obtain one.
I guess the halal butcher might have it, will ask there this weekend.
I thought places like the Tianmu Welcome had them. I also recall I got them from Costco.
But yum…who wants a turkey when you can have a roast leg of lamb with pan roasted veggies. ![]()
Indeed, I wouldn’t have done turkey anyhow…
Haven’t seen it in Costco, ever and Tienmu isn’t an area I hang out in, but thanks for the tip.
Also, anyone seen parsnips here?
One of my contacts has leg of lamb and I’m ordering one soon to see if it’s any good. If it is, I’ll add it to my product list.
Leg of lamb … no problem … bone in, boneless …
Parsnip … more difficult, but you can substitute with the round ones I use in my lamb stew …
