Legal matters: School refunds

Wanted to put this in ‘Legal Matters’ board but can’t find it …

Hoping Hartzell could weigh in on this: Taipei Am. School (and associated TYPA) have cancelled the semester 1 month early due to false SARS scare. No reason not to start classes but they are cancelling anyway. But get this, students are not being reimbursed for missed time. TAS is for profit and no valid reason to close! This is turning into a windfall for TAS & amounts to ~NT$30,000 per enrolled student. Multiply that by 3,000 students and it adds up quickly

Seems like a class-action wake up call for the TAS would go a long way … or am I missing something?
