Do those counties inclued New Taipei and Tapei?
Don’t want to give too many details because I’m the only foreign teacher in my district
New Taipei City doesn’t give an attendance bonus. They get the 12 months pay + 1 month bonus. The flight reimbursement is different as well, it doesn’t include your spouse. I think the amount of days off might be different from the TFETP program as well.
I think there are two different programs in New Taipei City as well. One is ran by New Taipei City and they recruit with Renhe, or however you spell it. The other is the TFETP program. I’m not sure who they recruit with, my guess would be Teach Taiwan.
Wow thanks for all this info! The other program is directly with them (TFETP) . It’s the one I’ve just applied to. They place nationwide.
