Guess I mixed up with the way their English names are written like Jolin Tsai, Jay Chou etc.
But yea, thanks for the political correctness patrol. 
It has nothing to do with political correctness. It’s a pet hate of mine, incorrect use of language convention.
It’s a convention that hasn’t been universally ratified.
