I’m in Taipei for another 3 or 4 months, I’m here on a working holiday visa and am using my time here to study Chinese. I really want to get scooter to allow me to explore Taipei’s nooks and crannies while I’m here.
How can I get scooter in Taipei? I have an international driving license but no ARC. I’ve heard it’s possible, maybe someone can help point me in the right direction?

Easiest way I know of is to have a local friend register it in their name.
I think you can rent them at Jeremy’s bike Farm. I hear the monthly rates are reasonable and that’s what I would do. No need to buy one for only a few months.

The last Jeremy told me Bikefarm was finished.
Saw him a week and a half ago. He said he’s still doing rentals. From the link above to the revamped site it looks as though he’s doing it differently.
