Basically the info in the app but on the bus. Seems elderly folk -and some stubburn not so old like my boss- do not want to use the app. But it will help tourists and FOBs.
Until they inevitably screw up the translations.
I always buy the 30 day pass even if I donāt use public transportation everyday.
It just allows so much more flexibility. Donāt feel like walking that extra km in the heat or rain and a bus happens to go to the MRT? Used to be you paid an extra 7nt each ride and now you can do it all you wantā¦
Or want to ride the U bike a short distance?
That 30 day pass is almost like cheatingā¦ I hope it lasts.
If the goal is to increase public transport use, then it worked on me. I canāt see it disappearing soon.

MRT stations/trains everywhere are VERY crowded now. Used to be only Taipei main station and maybe Zhongshao Fuxing was crowded. Now Ximen, Zhongshao Xinseng, Mingchuan W Rd, and many other station with a transfer point are nearly as crowded as Taipei main station was in the past.
Hopefully it means less scooters on the road and less obstruction because of scooters (I think them eliminating free scooter parking is a step towards that goal)
But now I have a problem of Iām bumper to bumper with people on the bus and not enough service.
That is why I recently have been asked to swipe twice. I had thought the sign was broken on many buses.
You mean when you are using the same card for more than one person?
I also wonder if it works in this caseā¦
Just me. I saw the Chinese words when I swiped on the way out showed as I already paid which seemed to be the same message before they instituted this change. So I was wondering if they changed anything at all except for the sign inside the bus and asking us to swipe on and swipe off.
I have managed to lose one easycard because I kept it out so I could swipe twice instead of putting away or not getting it out until I needed it

I bought the Easycard keychain for this specific purpose just so I wouldnāt have to lose it or forget it cause I need my keys.
Go to the MRT Souvenir Centre in Taipei Main Station to get one. Otherwise 711 only sells Hello Kitty.

There are also sticker types you can put on your cellphone. It is in your hand anyways.
Or wear one of those watches that have built-in Easycard function

Bus 640: busted my knee and went to Chinese clinic for morning acupunture and vertuloso then hop in to 640 going to Taipei.
Seating at the back after a moment a young lady wearing a dress also seat beside me then she started to squat then seat for a moment.
I told my self wow she can squat inside the bus and I look on my left busted knee damn cant do that squat thing. 
Iām not quite understanding or picturing this descriptionā¦
Instead of seating she take off her sandals then do the squat similar on squatting on toilet seat.

After the vertuloso and hop, the dress lady squat with no shoes and made poster sad.

Donāt know if Depot is 2 minutes away or 20 minutes away and if itās leaving the Depot in one minute or 1 hour.
