Di you know you can clip a scented capsule on your mask? While only an air tank, not even an N95 orwould block teenage hormones, every bit helps.
It’s good to see medieval era medical interventions coming back into fashion.
The mask had two small nose holes and was a type of respirator which contained aromatic items. The beak could hold dried flowers (commonly roses and carnations), herbs (commonly lavender and peppermint), camphor, or a vinegar sponge, as well as juniper berry, ambergris, cloves, labdanum, myrrh, and storax.
Mine is shaped like a cat paw.
The buttons will be mounted on platform gates corresponding to the first and fourth cars of the approaching train. Passengers can simply press the button to bring a leaving or arriving train to a halt in emergencies, according to TRTC.
Awesome, is there a higher resolution one anywhere?

The Dulishan squiggly is the icing on the cake.
I made an upscaled version but it’s 48 MB. It does a fairly OK job and the text is still readable.
I’d upload it if there wasn’t a limit.
Taichung has early bird deal for city transportation pass.
199ntd. Mayor Lu touts it as the cheapest in the country. Restricted to only Taichung city residents (have Taichung HHR). Still mainly just a MRT pass since anyone that can get these special prices already get free bus rides.
The one in the link posted above is legible.
Seats will be removed from the middle two cars of brown line trains to create more room. It’s supposed to allow 20 more passengers to get on each train. Why don’t they just increase the frequency of trains instead? Not a fan of sardine cans.
I’ve looked at the Taipei brown line and the older trains have only an evacuation lever/handle to open the doors, not a brake. You need to notice the control center, and when halted you can open the doors.
English article. Taipei Mayor also contacted the cebtral govt. about building a new MRT line to service Neihu passengers…and hopes for construction to start within 2 years.
WTF…will this start construction before Taichung even starts working on it’s Green Line extension???
Now everyone wants to sit in the front or back car, smart!
The second generation Bombardier trains on that line (the ones with the ludicrously large blue seats, not the original Matra trains with light yellow seats) were stupidly designed in the first place. Gutting the interiors and starting again may not be a bad idea.
Guy
They can’t increase the frequency on that shit toy train line
They lowered the monthly price so no they introduce ‘cattle class’.
That would mean buying new trains.
If they reconfigured the original trains (with the yellow seats) to be more like the 2nd generation ones (with blue seats) they’d be easier to get people into. The cross-seating on the Matra trains wastes a lot of space and means people don’t move into the middle of the car.
The ‘new’ Bombardier have actually enormous seats where two seats take up space for three ‘normal’ sized seats,
