Lin Yi-hsiung Quits the DPP

Another party ex-chairman quits the DPP. Lin had been known as the “divine leader” of the DPP because of his political faith and fight for democracy, even after his children were murdered in what became known as the “Lin Family murders.”

His reasoning: “Every election deepens cleavages between ethnic groups, social classes, and nourishes more hatred than ever before.”

Shih Ming-teh, Hsu Hsin-liang, and Lin Yi-hsiung. Who next?

That’s sad news indeed.

I was fortunate enough to shake Lin Yi-hsiung’s hand just after Chen won the first time.

What’s your take Chewy? You know these clowns better than the rest of us put together (or maybe I’ve got you mixed up with someone else - apologies in advance if so). Seems the only people that will be left in the DPP pretty soon will be young machine men and old fundamentalists. The exit of Lin could signify the passing of an era. I think we’re in for a rough ride over the next couple of years as the dumb and extremely dumb battle it out for supremacy in the DPP. Meanwhile, the country goes to shit because someone forgot to switch the growth button on. Opps.

Everything is just fine here in lovely taiwan. As for those former DPP chairmen losers and traitors, they can just take their holier than thou attitude and shove it! We’ll gladly sacrifice the electorate for what really matters, a free soverign Republic of Taiwan! And if you’re not willing to make sacrifices for that, tough luck for you. To hell with economic growth if we can’t become unshackled from our evil sadistic neighbor across the strait.

Yeah, PRC, we don’t need your freakin pandas, your tourists, or whatever else you have to offer! Take your unification war and shove it up your a**! TI above all, baby!!! Close the hatches and full steam ahead!!! Republic of Taiwan, here we come!

You got that right. Any of you who is not willing to sacrifice your own life for a free independent Republic of Taiwan, you don’t deserve the honor and glory of belonging to the DPP! All of you, out!
