Starting this Thursday night and
every other Thursday onwards
The LITERATI Workshop will mark the first in a series of open mics at
the Living Room to collaborate with and harness
talent in the local creative spoken-word community.
Writers, poets, comics, singer/songwriters etc. who are looking for a venue
to share their craft are welcome.
“Literati” aims to support and nurture
all the hidden literary talent out there and ultimately to
publish another issue of the annual collaborative
arts review magazine, “Xperienced in Taiwan.”
This Thursday the theme will be devoted to drunkenness
in all it’s guises - from a few selected readings of Omar Khayyam
to Baudelaire to who knows? Bukowsky perhaps? – and anyone else out there who might have an
original literary offering or musing of their own to share.
and to top it off, it’s FREE for performers.
This Thursday at the Living
Room - #8 Nanjing E. Road, Sect. 5, 3F, at the
intersection of Guangfu N. Rd. 9:30-11:30pm,
