2018 was a very different time. Also most Taiwanese youth views Black Panther as a bad loser who can’t accept defeat, and cheats his way back into the throne by playing dirty.
I feel like Disney stopped focusing on making a movie just for kids that’s magical for them (and adults to enjoy) and started to listen to what some adults think should have or should be in the movie.
This is imo, why they’re currently not doing so well and trying to distract us with their Florida/DeSantis battles.

Probably, deep down…but he’s better than all the local players, so they probably don’t want to follow that train of logic too far.
None that I know of who are keen basketball fans. He is just taking advantage of a sports skill set most do not have. People would be happy to earn as much as he does even though it will only be for a short period of his life.

Howard was a lot nicer to Jeremy Lin than Carmelo Anthony or James Harden. So most Taiwanese basketball fans always viewed him more positively.
The issue most Taiwanese youth take with Black Panther is that Kill Monger won the throne by playing by the established rules for contending the throne. So T’challa should have lived with the result.

They didn’t do a great CG for the tails. I mean Ariel’s tail is already fine, there are a whole bunch of mer-people’s tails that just look weird.
