Living in Taiwan

Living in Taiwan

Walking down the street
In warm and sweaty modesty
My mother told me to comply with the culture
So I bought a scooter

Poetic genius or what? :stuck_out_tongue:

Taiwan is an island in the Pacific Ocean; it’s so small that it’s hard to find on a world map. however, Taiwan’s location makes it important. Due to its history of occupation by foreign countires, Taiwan has developed a unique culture. People here are kind and friendly, especially toward foreigners. I believe that Taiwan leaves a deep impression upon its foreign visitors.

Yes, and I breastfeed baby camels for the friggin’ fun of it.

I dressed as modestly as the locals on the cooler days but now its just too hot so I say stuff it, I’ll wear a singlet top :noway: and a short skirt if want to, and shai hei to my heart’s delight. i.e. not do as the romans do.

That’s pretty much all I was saying. Some locals are warm and friendly, some are awful racist monsters, which means the people are generally exactly the same as anywhere else.

I fear the expats here more than the locals. Just reading some of the insults (from certain mods) directed towards me on this forum makes me tremble with fear.

Hey, it’s not in iambic pentameter…

Taiwan is always pretty big on any map that I’ve seen. Turn to the CNN or look on any globe. I’ve got a question, though. Why is China and Taiwan the same colour? Even on made in Taiwan.
